Pop-up Pitzhanger exhibition - free admission

Ealing Central Library

Our community exhibition, Pop-up Pitzhanger, went to Ealing Central Library for the last stop in its tour of the borough. If you'd like to find out more about the gallery and house, past exhibitions and events or the house’s extensive redevelopment, come along and watch our short film. You can also see a 3D printed version of the John Soane’s prized Cawdor Vase and a display of plaster casts inspired by his vast collections.

Pop-up Pitzhanger previously toured to The Dominion Centre in Southall, UB2 and Everyone Active Acton Centre in Acton, W3.

The Collectionists: Youth Group

From early December

The Collectionists sessions will be running alongside the Pop-up Pitzhanger exhibition at venues around Ealing in 2016. Young people will use new technologies to explore features of Soane’s architecture, creating their own light-up models of Pitzhanger to take away. They will draw circuits using electrically-conductive paint, and use coloured LED’s to re-interpret Soane’s use of amber light.
