Fundraising and Friends Officer

The Friends Officer will be a key role in a small and busy team at Pitzhanger Manor and & Gallery as we prepare to reopen to the public in March 2019 Spring, and beyond. Working alongside the Head of Development, the postholder will be responsible for the development and implementation of the newly designed Pitzhanger Friends scheme, and for ensuring growth and retention.

Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery has just been through a £12 million restoration and renovation process, funded by London Borough of Ealing, the Heritage Lottery Fund, and a pool of Trusts and Foundations, Corporate supporters and individual donors. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fundraiser to play a crucial role in generating income to support our exhibitions and education and outreach programmes through the development and management of a new and exciting Friends scheme. For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to shape the vision for this new scheme from its inception.

Retail and Visitor Experience Assistants- Full time and Part time positions available

Visitor Experience Assistants are the public face of Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery. You’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome to everyone who walks through our doors.  You’ll ensure that every one of our visitors has an enjoyable and memorable time engaging with both the Manor and Gallery providing information about Pitzhanger, the exhibition and Sir John Soane.

In addition to a quality visitor experience the department is responsible for generating income and profit for Pitzhanger; delivering a product range that is unique, relevant and inspiring; providing excellent customer service and visitor welcome and the department also acts as an ambassador for the Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery brand and values.

We are looking for interested, driven and helpful people to form our friendly and dedicated visitor experience team! As the manor and gallery has been closed for several years, this is an exciting time to join Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery as it reopens once again. We are incredibly excited to be sharing Pitzhanger with the public, and we have an ambitious plan for upcoming exhibitions and public programs. As a member of the opening team you will have the opportunity to help shape the visitor experience that we offer at Pitzhanger ensuring that we have visitors who join us time and time again.

Fundraising Manager 

The Fundraising Manager will be a key role in a small and busy team at Pitzhanger Manor and & Gallery as we prepare to reopen to the public in March 2019, and beyond. Working alongside the Head of Development, the postholder will be responsible for the implementation of the newly designed Patrons scheme, and for ensuring growth and retention. They will also be responsible for managing discreet fundraising appeals, and making approaches to Trusts and Foundations for gifts of up to £10,000 to support revenue and core costs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a fundraiser to play a crucial role in generating income to support our exhibitions and education and outreach programmes through the development and management of a variety of fundraising streams.
