2019 marks the 30th anniversary of this Award and this year the winner was Pitzhanger Manor.
Since 1989 the Society has given awards to recognise and encourage building and environmental projects that make a noteworthy contribution to the community in the Borough of Ealing. Winners receive a certificate and an award winner may display a specially designed Society plaque.
The 2019 awards were presented by Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles, former diplomat and President of the Society, at a ceremony at the University of West London on 23 October.
“This Regency manor has undergone a superb 4 year restoration project led by Ealing Council in collaboration with Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery Trust, and funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund, Arts Council England and other funding bodies. The architects were Jestico + Whiles with the support of heritage experts Julian Harrap Architects.”
