Volunteers are an integral part of our offering and are essential to making Pitzhanger’s vision become a reality.
Volunteers are integral and valued members of the Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery team. Our volunteers carry out a diverse range of roles, from welcoming visitors to gallery invigilation, sharing their knowledge of Pitzhanger and helping out in our shop.
To thank our volunteers for their time and dedication to Pitzhanger, we arrange visits to other museums, galleries and houses, plus Curator and Director led talks and tours at Pitzhanger around each exhibition. We also organise Volunteer Socials, as a great opportunity to make new friends and become part of a new community.
We provide training so you’ll be well-prepared to carry out the role, and in turn you will get excellent experience in a museum, plus the opportunity to work in an extraordinary historic house and contemporary art gallery.
We are looking forward to reopening our Manor and Hogarth: London Voices, London Lives exhibition. Please add your name and email address below to receive updates about joining us as a Volunteer when we reopen.
You don’t need to have volunteered before; we will provide relevant training, supervision and support.
If you have a question about our volunteering roles, or volunteering at Pitzhanger, get in touch. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
