FAQs

Does everyone need to book tickets online, including Members?

We encourage all visitors, including Members and Ealing residents, to book a timed entry ticket in advance, but tickets can be bought on arrival. We are continuing to limit capacity to allow us to maintain safe distances between visitors and to keep track of the number of people at Pitzhanger any one time. If you book in advance, we will email your ticket to you, and you will need to show it on a smartphone or printed, when you arrive.

While entry price remains the same, we are asking those that are able to consider making a donation to help the museum through these difficult times. There is an option to donate extra when booking – donations of all size make a difference.

How many tickets can I book? Can I book tickets for a group?

You can make a group booking of up to ten tickets for the same time slot.

What if I am running late?

We ask that you try to keep to your time slot but if you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate your visit.

Why do I need to provide personal details when I book?

We request to hold the contact details of the lead booker of each group, so that we can assist the NHS Covid Test and Trace service. We will retain your contact details (name, phone number, email) for 21 days. Please see our privacy statement here for further details.

I have pre-booked a ticket and I’m now unable to visit. What shall I do?

If you, or anyone in your group has been in contact with or have experienced symptoms of Covid-19, you must not attend. Please email systems@pitzhanger.org.uk to organise a refund. If you are giving your ticket to a friend for this reason, please do inform us with the correct contact details for the Track and Trace service.

Do I have to wear a mask?

In line with government guidance, wearing a face mask is now encouraged but optional.

Will the toilet facilities be open?

Most toilets are open as normal, including an accessible toilet and baby changing and handwashing facilities. Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance and at key points around the site.

Can I use a locker?

Our lockers are currently unavailable. Please don’t bring large bags or luggage with you. Only small sized bags are allowed in the Manor and Gallery.

Will the shop be open?

The Pitzhanger Shop is open during Pitzhanger opening hours and we are taking contactless/card payments only. We are a charity and every purchase supports us.

You can also now shop online at shop.pitzhanger.org.uk

Is there somewhere to store my bike during a visit?

Cycle parking is available around Pitzhanger, with the nearest indoor cycle parking located at Ealing Broadway.
