We inviting you to support our special campaign to purchase Julian Opie’s much-loved sculpture Curly Hair and secure it as a permanent landmark for Ealing. 

Since its installation in 2021, Julian Opie’s Curly Hair has become a recognisable figure of the community in Ealing, encouraging inquisitive passersby to visit the Manor and Gallery.  

We now want to make Opie’s digital work a permanent icon in Ealing, and to kickstart the beginnings of an exciting contemporary collection at Pitzhanger. 

We are approaching major national funders for the majority of the funds needed – but we now need your help to raise the final £2,500!
