Salary

Role

This new role will play a central part in the delivery of Pitzhanger’s Arts Council England-funded Community Participation Project, with a focus on engaging South Asian, Black, Afro-Caribbean and wider Global Majority communities in the London Borough of Ealing. Taking inspiration from our exhibitions and historic parkland, this project will celebrate the natural world through a mixture of workshops, drop-in events, family sessions and consultations, with the aim of bringing new and underrepresented audiences to Pitzhanger, as well as helping to build connections within our Borough.

Over a fixed term from July to November 2026, the role will design, deliver and evaluate inclusive consultation, co-creation, outreach and engagement programmes. Reporting to the Head of Public Programmes, you will grow existing initiatives, develop new ones, and build sustainable partnerships and community relationships that embed long-term, accessible change across families, young people and adults. Throughout the project, you will evaluate the performance and impact of activities and approaches, feeding into Pitzhanger’s ongoing development and creating a long-lasting project legacy.

We particularly encourage and welcome applications from people from backgrounds which are underrepresented in museums and galleries, including people from low-income backgrounds, people from Black, Asian and ethnically diverse backgrounds and disabled people.

This is a flexible role, with the option to work full-time or part-time, with remote working opportunities considered.
