Overview
Join us for a relaxed evening of collage-making, where you’ll cut, layer, and piece together a collage inspired by everyday objects.
The workshop takes place in the Upper Drawing Room of Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, designed by Sir John Soane as a living portfolio of his architectural ideals, and invites you to explore themes of beauty, identity, and innovation in domestic architecture.
No experience is needed. All materials are provided.
This workshop draws inspiration from our current exhibitions, Mirror Mirror and Doubles, where everyday objects such as toys, clothing, and shelters merge into their surroundings, camouflaging themselves within domestic settings while still holding strong emotional and symbolic presence. In this spirit, you’ll explore how the things we live with shape who we are and how memory, culture, and identity merge within the objects we hold dear, using provided materials that strike a personal resonance with each participant.
