Join celebrated poet and co-editor of this ground-breaking anthology of Sri Lankan and diasporic poetry to hear more about a long-neglected national literature that chronicles the island’s turbulent history and reshapes understanding of a country that has always thrilled the foreign imagination.  Hear and watch excerpts of some of the poets writing in English or translated from Tamil and Sinhala

About The Author

Seni Seneviratne is a writer, poet, performer, singer and creative artist born and raised in Leeds, Yorkshire and of English and Sri Lankan heritage. She has published four collections of poetry, the most recent being ‘The Go-Away Bird’.
