Enjoy a day out at Pitzhanger in the Summer half term break with a yoga workshop designed for families!
Family Yoga sessions are an opportunity for families to bond together through movement, breathing and relaxation to build trust and share quality time together as well as learn new skills. The session start with some breathing follow by fun yoga postures and end with a relaxation or mindfulness activity. This will feel extra special in the settings of the Pitzhanger Manor Gallery surrounded by its beautiful architecture and welcoming space.
Hazel is a Yoga teacher for children and teenagers, graduated from Yoga Campus. Hazel has been practicing yoga for more than 15 years and with her daughter since 2012. She currently teaches a Breakfast Club, children afternoon session and a number of Yoga sessions weekly at a local nursery.
Hazel also takes Family Yoga sessions locally and has also led Family Yoga sessions at the Wilderness Festival 2021 in Oxfordshire. Hazel also holds a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health (RQF). Her teachings focus on holding a safe space for Children and Teenagers to explore Yoga and Creativity, through breathing techniques, asanas and creative mindfulness activities to encourage relaxation and awareness of the present moment and their body.

General Admission will be reduced to £8 during this time. The Bella Pūlia Café and the Pitzhanger Shop will also be open.

Gallery Access on Curator’s Talk Evening
Please note that 13 November, the Gallery will close at 6pm for the Curator’s Talk with Richard Calvocoressi and Nicholas Serota. From 5pm, there may be some set-up activity in the space, though it will remain open and accessible for ticket holders.
If you do not have a ticket for the talk, we recommend planning your visit a little earlier in the day to enjoy the full exhibition.
