South Asian Heritage Late

“West London’s coolest independent art gallery invites Londoners to join them for a special South Asian Heritage Month late.”

The London Standard

Overview

Join us for a vibrant Thursday Late at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery to celebrate South Asian Heritage Month on Thursday 7 August 2025. This special evening, themed Roots to Routes, invites you to explore connections between South Asia and Ealing, Southall, and beyond through creative experiences.

Enjoy after-hours access to the Manor and exhibitions by acclaimed artists Permindar Kaur and Prem Sahib, alongside a live Bhangra dance workshop, life drawing, and a live podcast recording of The Migration Menu, which explores stories of food and migration from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, the Maldives, and Afghanistan.

We will be joined by two delicious food vendors, who will be on site throughout the evening.

Vegetarian Brown Girls Present: Crisps But Better

Crisps but Better is the street food spin off from Vegetarian Brown Girls, the Gujarati supper club featured in Vogue for its bold, home style cooking and community spirit. They are now serving an Indian street food called chaat inside crisp packets. They deliver playful, nostalgic flavours with a fresh twist. Everything is vegetarian and for this event, they’ll also be serving masi– their latest addition, a refreshing iced chai that’s already become a crowd favourite. The perfect pairing for a summer celebration.

Shree Krishna Vada Pav (SKVP)

Shree Krishna Vada Pav (SKVP) is a vegetarian restaurant offering an exciting and vibrant flavours of Mumbai street food. The restaurant was founded by Sujay Sahani and Subodh Joshi in 2010 on Hounslow High Street and now has multiple branches across London and the UK.
