Children lead sensorial and creative activities in a relaxed, free-flow play space at the Rickyard for under 5s.

About this event

Inspired by a combination of Montessori philosophy, the architecture and exhibitions hosted by Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery. Designed to give children and parents an opportunity to explore and have fun together!

Your ticket will include a free visit to the manor and gallery before or after the session. You can drop in at the Rickyard any time between 10.30am and 2pm to enjoy the session.

Families are invited to visit Pitzhanger Manor and then come to the Little Builders session at the Rickyard, near the playground. This session has been inspired by the surrounding grounds of Walpole park. Visit the gardens around Pitzhanger Manor. Ask your little ones to name all the flowers they spot. What colours are they? Which one is your favourite? Can you spot any flowers inside the Manor? Have you noticed the rosettes on the staircase, on the ceiling and other parts of the building?

Little Builders sessions can be messy and it is advisable to wear suitable clothing. Please bring a spare change of clothes. Although much care is taken to plan safe and suitable activities for your children to engage and explore independently, please remember that, Children must be supervised by their accompanying adults at all times and must be never left on their own.

Special Offer: If you visit Pitzhanger Pantry in Walpole Park after your session you can enjoy a half price regular hot drink and cake (subject to availability) and your under 5s can have a FREE babyccino.
