From Sunday 4 May to Sunday 18 May 2025, access to parts of the Alison Watt: From Light exhibition will be limited. The manor will remain open, but the gallery will be closed. During this time, special admission prices apply: £8 Standard / £4 Students. Visitors can explore the manor, see J’Accuse…! Sculptures by Nicole Farhi, and enjoy Alison Watt’s work in Soane’s historic home.

Please note that during this period there will be no accessible toilet available at Pitzhanger. The nearest accessible toilet is located at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, just a 5-minute walk away. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Overview

Experience Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery in a whole new light with our Candlelit Tours, part of the Christmas Lates series. These intimate, after-dark tours offer a unique way to explore our exhibitions and historic spaces, including Grayson Perry: The Vanity of Small Differences and the works of William Hogarth. Led by our director Clare Gough and head of programmes Richard Parry, each tour delves into the stories behind the art and architecture, providing fascinating insights while you enjoy the manor’s festive ambience.

12 DecemberPitzhanger Manor Candlelit Tour led by Clare Gough. Step back in time to the Georgian and Regency eras as we explore the life of Sir John Soane, the architect of Pitzhanger Manor. Learn how the English celebrated Christmas during Soane’s time, while touring the beautifully decorated and illuminated Pitzhanger Manor.
