Join us for a walking tour with Blue Badge guide Diana Kelsey to explore Camden – from Primrose Hill, to Mornington Crescent. Diana’s walks have proved very popular with Members. Places are limited to 20 so book soon to avoid disappointment!
Camden is a varied and fascinating area. Once open fields – now only Primrose Hill remains – then home to the piano-making industry, it is now a very mixed residential area, from vast Regency villas to down-at-heel terraces with Dickens’ connections. The walk will start at Primrose Hill, leading to busy Camden Town before finishing in Mornington Crescent, home to the Camden Town group of artists and to arguably London’s most bizarre and dramatic Art Deco building – the erstwhile Carreras Cigarette factory. – Diana Kelsey
