Come to our special Open Sunday to celebrate Earth Day as part of Art Fund’s The Wild Escape project!
Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery is delighted to be a part of The Wild Escape, a major creative project for museums and schools inspired by Britain’s wildlife. We are partnering with member organisations from the London Beaver Working Group, including Citizen Zoo and the Ealing Wildlife Group, to raise awareness for a very exciting local project: their now-successful license application to reintroduce beavers to Paradise Fields in Ealing!
This special Open Sunday is free for Ealing residents, and includes loads of fun activities for families in Pitzhanger’s Manor and Gardens, including:
Art Workshop | 10:30am – 12:30pm | Create your own beaver-inspired structure in the Manor with architect and artist Sahra Hersi. |
Outdoor Workshop | Session 1: 10:30am – 11:15am Session 2: 11:45am – 12:30pm | Explore how beaver dams are made and try your hand at identifying beaver tracks with Rebecca Cargill from Blue Fox Forest School. |
Information Booths | 10:30am – 12:30pm | Learn about the beaver reintroduction project in Ealing with a booth hosted by members of the London Beaver Working Group. |
