About this event
Join us for the first Sunday of each month for special tours, workshops and creative activities inspired by Pitzhanger and our exhibitions, including storytelling and children’s trails.
Busy Bee Workshops
Come and meet Busy Bee and find out all about bees and how they help us. There’ll be some fun activities and we’ll find out about other creepy crawlies and their life cycles, as well as seeing some real specimens including a scorpion and an African wasp. If you’ve ever wondered what the “Waggle dance” is, now is your chance to find out! The session will be led by Judy Preece, who is a freelance learning facilitator at the Natural History Museum.
Drop in
Sessions begin at 11am and 1pm
Craft Activity
Inspired by the work of Rana’s Begum, No.897 Casts, 2019, in this family workshop we will recreate a similar effect by folding paper, and paint it over and over using watercolours and pastels. Activity suitable for all ages.
Facilitator: Bea Maccarrone
