Interactive Storytelling with Magic Box Stories & Art Workshop
Magic Box provides fun, interactive storytelling sessions where kids help tell the story using the odd things found in the Box.
Children guess what theme the story will be based on. Lottie from Magic Box will play a character leading the children into this themed adventure where they can role-play, move around the imaginary space – and sing songs!
There will be two performances of this storytelling session, the first at 10.30 am and the second at 11.30 am. As the performance is interactive, the duration is fluid and may run between 45-60 minutes.
Art Workshop
There will also be a drop-in art workshop with Tamira Kitchens, an artist and architecture student in London. Tamira is interested in the intersection between technology, art, and people, believing that we can use design to help improve people’s lives, whether that is on an individual scale – by using creativity to relieve stress, form ideas, and as a social activity – or on a much larger scale, by designing cities and artwork which benefit members of a society in the long term.
Drop in from 10:30am – 12:30pm in the Education Room.
