Overview
Pitzhanger’s Thursday Lates are a recurring programme, happening on the first Thursday of each month, with a variety of evening events as Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery stays open after hours.
Each Thursday Late features a unique theme, with opportunities to join talks and premium programmes led by artists and special guests (separately ticketed). A wide range of activities and workshops are also included in pay what you can admission, and all Thursday Lates* ticket holders enjoy access to Pitzhanger, all exhibitions, and free drop-in activities throughout the evening.

Join us on National Poetry Day for an evening with the multi-award-winning poet Suzannah V. Evans to celebrate her debut collection, Under the Blue. Suzannah will be in conversation with the curator and writer Guy Robertson.
The book cover for Under The Blue features Howard Hodgkin’s Water, 2016 – this choice was made as the concept of life and art intertwining, is a running theme throughout the collection. The poems in the collection explore relationships, family, care, and disability.
Join us for an inspiring evening of life drawing in the unique setting of Sir John Soane’s country home. Led by a professional tutor, this relaxed session is open to all levels – from complete beginners to experienced artists. Working from a live model, you’ll have the chance to experiment with form, proportion and expression in a supportive and creative environment.

Explore contemporary exhibitions and the historic manor at your leisure, take part in engaging workshops and activities, or simply relax with refreshments from our on-site café/bar.
Join us for Thursday Lates at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery in Ealing, West London—a perfect evening to discover art, architecture, and history in an inspiring, after-hours setting.
Please note that although our Manor House remains open as normal, we are hosting our Wedding Open Day across the Manor space on 25th October 2025. Artworks in the Manor will be available as normal.
Please note that the Eating Room in Pitzhanger Manor will be closed at 2–2.45pm on Sunday 7 December for a private event. Artworks in the affected space will be temporarily off view, but General Admission continues as usual. All rooms will be open before and after this time during our regular opening hours.
Please note that Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery will close at 4pm on 11 December for a private event. Bella Pūglia Café will close at 4:30pm as usual, and the Pitzhanger Shop will remain open to the public until 5pm.
Please note that the Eating Room in Pitzhanger Manor will be closed at 1–3pm on Saturday 24 January for a private event. Artworks in the affected space will be temporarily off view, but General Admission continues as usual. All rooms will be open before and after this time during our regular opening hours.
