Our theme for this month is landscape.
With 2021 on the horizon, have you been thinking about the future? Where you would like to go; what do you see yourself doing? We can be hopeful and visualise the future, but this is an opportunity to look back and think about where you have been, and what memories you have made in 2020.
2020 also concludes our exhibition, Hogarth: London Voices, London Lives where we look at the issues that shape London today- and invite you to do the same. What issues matter most to you? What is your favourite city space? Where do like to escape? Where did you create new memories with friends and family? Which city or outdoors spaces do you feel grateful for?
In this task, we will be looking at perspective, colour, and using mixed materials to create a piece to be displayed, sent as a greetings card or postcard or even made into a seasonal tree ornament.
“Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble, places where other people see nothing”
