From Sunday 4 May to Sunday 18 May 2025, access to parts of the Alison Watt: From Light exhibition will be limited. The manor will remain open, but the gallery will be closed. During this time, special admission prices apply: £8 Standard / £4 Students. Visitors can explore the manor, see J’Accuse…! Sculptures by Nicole Farhi, and enjoy Alison Watt’s work in Soane’s historic home.

Please note that during this period there will be no accessible toilet available at Pitzhanger. The nearest accessible toilet is located at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, just a 5-minute walk away. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Overview

Visit Pitzhanger Manor and explore the house’s history with our guided tours.

Registered sign language translator Alan Murray will lead a guided tour in British Sign Language (BSL). He will tell you the story of Pitzhanger Manor and Soane’s legacy. You will learn the architectural and design details as laid by Sir John Soane and the recent restoration project that brought the house back to life.

About the Guide

Alan D Murray MBE is a British Sign Language (BSL) user and deaf trainer and consultant. He has a deep, lifelong interest in arts, culture, history, heritage and science. This interest, coupled with his strong belief that the arts should be accessible to all, fuels his passion for delivering culturally rich guided tours and talks in BSL, breaking down barriers and opening up the arts to the deaf BSL-using community across London.

  • The participant is required to purchase a ticket to enter Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery. Booking the guided tour does not grant access to the Manor.
  • A maximum of 12 guests for this tour.
