Pitzhanger is open on Bank Holiday Monday 26 May.
We will be closed on Wednesdays 18 & 25 June for exhibition changeover.
Enjoy £8 admission from 19–22 June while we prepare for our exciting new exhibitions. Find out more.
Starting at Pitzhanger Manor we will discover the world’s bestselling detective author, Agatha Christie’s links with Ealing, visit a building connected with two songwriting icons of British rock music, and hear about the eighteenth-century writer who created Tom Jones, and the author of A Town Like Alice. We will see where one of the famous co-founders of the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company was educated, visit the HQ of the famous Ealing Studios where scriptwriters and books abound, and finally conclude our walk in the Ealing Broadway Centre where the author of the Billy Bunter books once lived.
Led by Alan Fortune and Elaine Wein
