Registered sign language translator Alan Murray will lead a guided tour in British Sign Language (BSL). Philip Graves will guide an English tour. They will tell you the story of Pitzhanger Manor and Soane’s legacy. You will learn the architectural and design details as laid by Sir John Soane and the recent restoration project that brought the house back to life.

About the Guide

Alan D Murray MBE is a British Sign Language (BSL) user and deaf trainer and consultant. He has a deep, lifelong interest in arts, culture, history, heritage and science. This interest, coupled with his strong belief that the arts should be accessible to all, fuels his passion for delivering culturally rich guided tours and talks in BSL, breaking down barriers and opening up the arts to the deaf BSL-using community across London.
