Join us for an intimate evening of live music set in one of London’s most atmospheric and architecturally significant spaces, Pitzhanger Manor, the historic home of visionary architect Sir John Soane.
Lumarie is a newly London-based artist blending elements of jazz, folk, neo-soul and pop. Her candid lyrics explore themes of self-love, identity, mental health and relationships, expressed through smokey, honeyed vocals, likened to Lily Allen and Lianne La Havas. Lumarie’s debut single ‘Free’ captivated listeners with jazz-infused messages of joy, nature and connection, earning a place on Spotify’s fresh finds playlist and support from BBC Introducing both in Sheffield and nationwide on BBC radio 6.
Accompanying Lumarie, will be Ealing based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Luke Matthews on the piano. His recent gigs include The Pheasantry, The Roundhouse, Camden Assembly, The Piano Lounge, St Moritz Club, Sofar Sounds and many more. His performance at the Edinburgh Festival had him singled out in Edinburgh Festival radio as ‘one to watch’.
This event is brought to Pitzhanger in collaboration with Juliet Sharman Matthews, www.jpsmmanagement.com.
