Come to our March Open Sundays and celebrate the coming of Spring!

Please note that our art workshops and storytelling sessions are drop-in events and are not intended to be registered art classes. These sessions tend to be very busy at the beginning, so arriving later on will result in less crowding.

5 March: Crawley the Caterpillar with Judy Preece

Get ready for the coming of Spring with storyteller extraordinaire Judy Preece as she tells the tale of Crawley the Caterpillar, followed by a lifecycle workshop of various minibeasts, including frogs.

There are two repeat performances of this event, the first from 10:30 – 11:00am and the second from 11:30am – 12:00pm.

There will be a drop-in polyblock printing workshop inspired by the gardens at Pitzhanger with artist Lauren Veevers taking place in the Education Room in Pitzhanger Manor throughout the duration of the event.

12 March

Drop-in art workshop in the Education Room with artist Jennifer Louise Martin, using only paper, scissors and glue to create a paper relief sculpture 3D artwork inspired by Anthony Caro: The Inspiration of Architecture.

19 March

Drop-in art workshop in the Education Room with artist Sarah Richardson, using paper technology to create 3D flowers inspired by the imagery of flowers seen in Pitzhanger Manor!

26 March

Drop-in art workshop with artist Lauren Veevers.

Please note

• This is a drop-in event with free access to Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. The art workshops and performances begin at 10.30 am.
• There is no advance booking for this event.
