Taking inspiration from Pitzhanger Interior talks, we are turning the spotlight on dream interiors of our own.
More infoSince Pitzhanger has a call for submissions for their upcoming #ThisIsEaling exhibition, we thought we’d share our own photography task.
More infoInspired by the many themes and textures found within the interiors of Pitzhanger Manor, we will play with contrasting shapes, texture and layout to design an inspiring composition.
More infoInspired by the many concentric circles found within the interiors of Pitzhanger Manor, we will play with colour, pattern and repetition to design an attractive piece.
More infoA vision board is a visual representation of the future goals you want to achieve and is related to your life direction. In this task we look at how we can replenish ourselves for the year ahead.
More infoIn this task, we will be looking at perspective, colour, and using mixed materials to create a piece to be displayed, sent as a greetings card or postcard or even made into a seasonal tree ornament.
More infoFor this task we will be reflecting on changing self image, reflecting both the internal dialogue and who we present to the world.
More infoAfter this recent period of turbulence and uncertainty, this month we will be looking at the positives; playing with shape, colour and space to create a positive affirmation to be displayed somewhere prominent.
More infoLooking to Pitzhanger’s upcoming exhibition Hogarth: London Voices, London Lives, we will be reflecting voices and issues in society today. Inspired by the momentum of the Black Lives Matter movement globally, we are inviting you to join us in creating, and displaying, protest art.
More infoInspired by the heritage interiors and the many recurring shapes within Pitzhanger Manor, we will design a repeating pattern. This will give us an understanding of how they are created to use in designing wallpapers, clothes and carpets.
More infoAt a time when we are distanced physically from those we love, if you were to create an ode to someone special, important or inspirational, how would it look, and what would it say?
More infoUse collage to create a series of ‘Polaroids’ about the story of your thoughts. If you were to take a snapshot of your thoughts today, what would it look like?
More infoInspired by the many natural motifs found at Pitzhanger Manor, we will create compositions using objects found in nature.
