Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery has welcomed over 60,000 visitors so far this financial year!
We are thrilled to share a remarkable milestone—Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery has welcomed over 60,000 visitors so far this financial year! This is a record-breaking achievement, surpassing visitor numbers from any previous year, including our reopening year in 2019 when we just missed this milestone due to pandemic closures.
With two months still to go before the end of the financial year on 31 March, we look forward to welcoming even more visitors, especially with our exciting upcoming exhibitions Alison Watt: From Light and J’Accuse…! Sculptures by Nicole Farhi, both opening in March.
This milestone reflects the incredible momentum behind Pitzhanger as a historic house and contemporary art gallery in West London, bringing together architecture, history, and world-class exhibitions. From our restored Sir John Soane-designed manor to critically acclaimed exhibitions featuring artists such as Grayson Perry, Anthony Caro, Idris Khan and Annie Morris, Pitzhanger continues to be a vibrant cultural hub.
We have an exceptional programme ahead, and there is never been a better time to plan your visit. Coming up in 2025:
Alison Watt: From Light (opens 5 March)— A major solo exhibition featuring new paintings exploring light and shadow, inspired by the architecture and emotional depth of Sir John Soane’s Pitzhanger Manor.
Prem Sahib (opens June 2025)– A solo exhibition in the manor house by Prem Sahib, featuring works that explore the intersection of public and private spaces through pared down sculptural interventions.
Howard Hodgkin (opens October 2025)– A retrospective showcasing the vibrant and emotionally charged print practice of Howard Hodgkin, depicting moments and memories through bold, abstract forms.
Thursday Lates (every first Thursday of the month)— Enjoy extended evening openings with talks, workshops, and a glass of wine in our stunning setting.
