On 7, 14 and 21 June, some rooms in the manor will be briefly closed for private events.
Artworks from our current exhibitions in these spaces will be temporarily off view, but general admission remains as usual.
Pitzhanger will also be closed on Wedsnesday 18 and again on Wedsnesday 25 June for exhibition changeover.
Enjoy £8 admission from 19–22 June while we prepare our exciting new exhibitions.

Overview

From 4 to 8 August, children aged 7 to 11 are invited to participate in our 5-day Creative Summer Holiday Club. Sign up for one or more days of inspiring hands-on activities, running daily from 10am to 3pm.

Each day is themed around our exciting new exhibitions, offering opportunities to learn about the featured artists, discover the unique architecture of the manor, connect with the surrounding nature, and dive into the magic of storytelling and illustration.

Daily Activities:

Day 1, Monday 4 August: The Tiny Village of Pitzhanger with Mikaela Roe-Bower 

Create a magical miniature village inspired by Pitzhanger’s beautiful outdoor spaces, as children sculpt fairy-like creatures and structures from natural materials.

Day 2, Tuesday 5 August: Storytelling Through Printmaking with Lauren Veevers 

Create your own mini storybook filled with vibrant monoprints and patterns, inspired by textiles and childhood themes from our current exhibition.

Day 3, Wednesday 6 August: Illustrated Adventures with Katka Krajči 

Reimagine Pitzhanger Manor through playful architectural illustration, as children dream up magical stories, hidden rooms, and curious creatures.

Day 4, Thursday 7 August: Make Believe with Lewis MCvey 

Let imaginations soar as children create magical characters, craft props and costumes, and build stories together through making and storytelling.

Day 5, Friday 8 August:  Cloth Collages with Jess Meehan 

Craft a vibrant fabric collage, exploring shape, pattern and texture to create a unique and personal artwork inspired by imagination and play.

Please Note

  • Please ensure your child brings a packed lunch (please follow the same guidelines as for a packed school lunch, i.e. no nuts).
  • Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately and prepared for the weather on the day (hat, sun cream, rain gear, etc.), as some activities will take place outdoors.
  • Please ensure your child is wearing clothing that is suitable to get messy, as they will be using paints and other mark-making materials!

  • Ticket Concessions: £20 for families with household income below £30,000 per year; FREE for low-income families in receipt of Free School Meals, Universal Credit, and/or Jobseeker’s Allowance.
  • Family Members’ Discount: 25% discount on 2 School Holiday Club ticket per school holiday.
