From Sunday 4 May to Sunday 18 May 2025, access to parts of the Alison Watt: From Light exhibition will be limited. The manor will remain open, but the gallery will be closed. During this time, special admission prices apply: £8 Standard / £4 Students. Visitors can explore the manor, see J’Accuse…! Sculptures by Nicole Farhi, and enjoy Alison Watt’s work in Soane’s historic home.

Please note that during this period there will be no accessible toilet available at Pitzhanger. The nearest accessible toilet is located at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, just a 5-minute walk away. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Overview

Imagine sketching beneath the gaze of history, with this dreamy State Drawing Room as backdrop for a unique life drawing experience.

Brentford Nudes will be hosting a life drawing class within our breathtaking Upper Drawing Room. Decorated with hand-painted Chinese wallpaper, the outside is brought inside in this spectacular room. The utterly charming and ethereal Willoh will be our model for the occasion, ready to inspire our creative spirit.

17:00: Doors open for participants to visit the exhibitions across the manor & gallery

18:15: 1.5 hour tutored life drawing session in the impressive Chinoiserie Upper Drawing Room

19:45: The posing finishes, and artists share their work

  • Only dry materials are allowed in the historic rooms.
  • Drinks*: We can only have clear liquids upstairs. There is a café in the manor if you want to have a tea

About Thursday Lates

Pitzhanger stays open until 8pm on the first Thursday of every month offering visitors an after-hours chance to view the exhibitions, and to join a wide range of events and activities, or simply enjoy a glass of something in our café/bar. Please note that some talks and events may require additional tickets so do check the website for details ahead of your visit.
