During this time, special admission prices apply: £8 Standard / £4 Students. Visitors can explore the manor, see J’Accuse…! Sculptures by Nicole Farhi, and enjoy Alison Watt’s work in Soane’s historic home.

Join our team and discover how simple drawings can spring to life through the magic of motion. In this fun, hands-on drop-in workshop, you’ll make your own Thaumatrope, a spinning optical illusion that blends two images into one. Think of a fish in a bowl or a star in the sky! It’s a brilliant way to explore how the eye and brain work together, and a great activity for curious minds of all ages.

Join artist Lily Wei this May for a sun-kissed art workshop! There is no better event that heralds the beginning of warmer days than learning how to create your own cyanotype postcard or bookmark. No experience? No problem! This easy-going workshop welcomes any who are curious to the medium; whether you are a professional in photography and printmaking, or just looking to spend a fun morning capturing some sun magic.
Recommended for ages 13 and up. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

About Artist:
Lily Wei is a Chinese-New Zealander artist currently living and working in London. Lily’s current paintings celebrate her emotions of being part of the Asian diaspora and explore displacement, museum repatriation, movement and the concept of Hiraeth. She completed her baccalaureate at Chelsea College of Art, London, where she painted her way through a fine art degree. Lily is currently studying her Master’s degree at the Royal College of Art.
Join us for a fun-filled, hands-on experience designed for children aged 1 to 5 years! Led by artist Lewis McVey, Mini Makers: Messy Play invites little ones to explore, play, and create through various child-led activities, including building and painting with cardboard, sensory play, drawing, and much more.
