Mini Makers

Overview

Play and create with Mini Makers! We welcome children aged 1 to 5 years with a variety of child-led activities and art-making, including building and painting with cardboard and other materials, sensory play, drawing, and more!

Your children will build their confidence, creativity, and fine motor skills while making a mess that you won’t have to clean up at the end!

It is advisable to wear suitable clothing as Mini Makers sessions will be messy. You may wish to bring a spare change of clothes. Although much care is taken to plan safe and suitable activities for your children to engage and explore independently, please remember that children must be supervised by their accompanying adults at all times and never be left alone.

Please Note

  • This is a drop-in session. Your ticket gives you entry anytime between 10:00am and 1:30pm.
  • Mini Makers sessions are always busiest towards the beginning – if you would like more space and time for your activities, it is advised to come later on if at all possible.
  • We are updating the price for Mini Makers sessions to £9 from 23 February. This change will help us keep offering great experiences for our young visitors. We are maintaining our £1 Concession ticket for job seekers and people on income support, as well as carers accompanying visitors with disabilities and Historic Houses Members.
