From Sunday 4 May to Sunday 18 May 2025, access to parts of the Alison Watt: From Light exhibition will be limited. The manor will remain open, but the gallery will be closed. During this time, special admission prices apply: £8 Standard / £4 Students. Visitors can explore the manor, see J’Accuse…! Sculptures by Nicole Farhi, and enjoy Alison Watt’s work in Soane’s historic home.

Please note that during this period there will be no accessible toilet available at Pitzhanger. The nearest accessible toilet is located at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, just a 5-minute walk away. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Overview

Join us for an exclusive Members’ View of Anthony Caro: The Inspiration of Architecture (9 March – 10 September 2023).

Enjoy a unique tour with Curator, Paul Moorhouse (Chief Executive of the Anthony Caro Centre) and Patrick Cunningham (Caro’s Lead Studio Assistant for 43 years), as they introduce the extraordinary works in the Gallery and provide insights into Caro’s inspiration and evolving style.

Sir Anthony Caro (1924 – 2013) started his career working with Henry Moore and is regarded as the greatest British sculptor of his generation. The exhibition will present his works in conversation with Sir John Soane’s neo-classical architecture.

Your ticket includes a glass of wine with your fellow Members.
