MAIN GALLERY CLOSURE & JULY FILMING UPDATE

The main gallery is currently closed for exhibition changeover. Pitzhanger Manor and Marthe Armitage: Pattern Maker remain open, with discounted admission available.

On 8–19 July, further closures will be in place due to filming activity. During this period, the main gallery, café, shop, Monk’s Dining Room and Wonder Room will be closed. Discounted admission will remain available for access to the open areas of Pitzhanger Manor, including Marthe Armitage: Pattern Maker.

Visitors requiring step-free access to the Manor on 8–19 July will need to enter and exit via the Eating Room door from the Front Garden. The accessible toilet in the main gallery will not be available; the nearest accessible toilet is at the Rickyard in Walpole Park, near the playground.

Summer Holiday Club: A Week of Creativity at Pitzhanger

Join us at Pitzhanger’s Summer Holiday Club for a week of artful adventure! Kids aged 7-11 are invited to this 5-day camp running 10am-3pm daily, each offering a unique art activity led by different inspiring artists. From felt making to botanical art, architecture design, mask making and art inspired by nature, a diverse creative experience is waiting for you.

The fun doesn’t stop indoors; we will take our creativity to the scenic Walpole Park. By the end of each day, your child will have beautiful artwork to take home, new skills learnt, and fond memories with new friends.

Messy Summer Fun with Mini Makers

Mini Makers is back this July and August with three special sessions full of fun and imagination for children aged 6 months to 8 years. These playful, child-led activities promote creativity and fine motor skills with no mess for parents to clean up! Sessions include building, painting, drawing, and sensory play.

Plus, tickets come with benefits, like half-price ice cream at Pitzhanger Pantry and free entry to the Anthony Caro exhibition.

Family Fun with Summer Art Workshops

Unleash your inner artist at the Family Workshops! Our program includes Architectural Block Printing, Mixed Media Painting, Botanical Tile Making, and Play Sculptures. These workshops offer a platform to explore various mediums, including drawing, printing, painting, and clay modelling. Inspired by Pitzhanger Manor, its beautiful gardens, and the current Anthony Caro exhibition, participants can create and take home unique artworks.

Summer Sundays: A Cultural Celebration

Experience an enriching blend of art, storytelling, and workshops with Open Sundays. Suitable for all ages, the events vary from engaging storytelling sessions with Alim Kamara and Usifu Jalloh to interactive workshops where you can make buzzing bee sound instruments, doodle drawings, assemble sculptures, paper flowers, and more. Admission is free for Ealing residents and children accompanying a paying adult.
