As the summer half-term school break approaches, Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery invites you to join us for exciting events designed to engage, entertain, and inspire the whole family. From captivating exhibitions and interactive workshops to rejuvenating yoga sessions and artistic discoveries, there’s something for everyone at Pitzhanger this term break.
Immerse yourself in the captivating world of Anthony Caro’s sculpture through the eyes of architecture. Unleash your imagination and explore Caro’s remarkable works, including the Child’s Tower Room, a favourite among kids. Discover the interplay of space, materials, and scale that has made this exhibition a must-see for critics and visitors alike.
If you want to get hands-on, don’t miss the Architectural Sculpture Workshop, where you can build and experiment with your structures inspired by Caro’s art. See how your creations react to environmental changes and capture their transformation through sketches and photographs. This hands-on experience combines art, design, and architectural thinking, suitable for all ages and abilities.
Pitzhanger Late: Collaborative Drawing into Sculpture
Join artist Alex Heard in the collaborative drawing workshop of the London Festival of Architecture. Explore Caro’s sculptures through drawing and transform your artwork into playful installations using cardboard and found materials. Let your creativity soar in this unique and inspiring workshop.
For a moment of relaxation and connection, indulge in our Family Yoga session with experienced children’s yoga teacher Hazel Gomez Sen. Rejuvenate your mind and body as a family while surrounded by the beautiful architecture of Pitzhanger. This session is designed to help you practice breathing, yoga postures, and relaxation, creating a memorable and tranquil experience for everyone.

It is a day of family fun and architectural discovery. Join storyteller Judy Preece for a fascinating tour of the Manor, followed by a drop-in art/architecture workshop with artist Amy Leung. These limited-capacity experiences are not to be missed, offering immersive and educational adventures for kids and families. Free for Ealing residents.

It is with both pride and sadness that we announce the departure of Clare Gough, Director of Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, as she takes on an exciting new role as Director of the Garfield Weston Foundation.
Please note that the Eating Room in Pitzhanger Manor will be closed all day on Thursday 6 November for a private event. Artworks in the affected space will be temporarily off view, but General Admission continues as usual. All other rooms will be open as usual during our regular opening hours.
Please note that although our Manor House remains open as normal, we are hosting our Wedding Open Day across the Manor space on 25th October 2025. Artworks in the Manor will be available as normal.
Please note that the Upper Drawing Room in Pitzhanger Manor will be closed at 11.30am–5pm on Saturday 18 October for a private event. Artworks in the affected space will be temporarily off view, but General Admission continues as usual. All rooms will be open before and after this time during our regular opening hours.

Please note that 13 November, the Gallery will close at 6pm for the Curator’s Talk with Richard Calvocoressi and Nicholas Serota. From 5pm, there may be some set-up activity in the space, though it will remain open and accessible for ticket holders.
If you do not have a ticket for the talk, we recommend planning your visit a little earlier in the day to enjoy the full exhibition.
